You discover the ins and outs of Elektron’s renowned step sequencer, how to use parameter locks, sound locks, conditional locks, and how to record patterns by playing live in real time.
After explaining custom kits, managing voices and performance settings, Thavius dives head first into sound design with lots of practical examples. You learn how to create bass, lead and pluck sounds, how to use the flexible arpeggiator, and more. Thank you very much for this tutorial. It is essential to use 100% this magnificent machine. The ability to pause and the duration of each lesson allows for a smooth learning. Even being not very good in English I can understand everything. Thanks Thavius.
Thank you Thavius. Now I know how to use my Analog 4 without reading the manual. This tutorial taught me how to use A4 in a few days. I'm sure there are other features not in this tutorial but the most used in a practical situation is what's covered (sequencing/PLOCKS/SOUNDLOCKS/sound design). I'm good to go
Truly excellent overview with many ideas offered for further exploration that you can easily start to build on as you follow these well crafted episodes. Essential for short circuiting your ramp time in learning the Analog Four!
Nice tutorial Thavius ;) Heat and Digitakt now :) i find you bass-line strange at first and now I can get out of my head... I feel a track with that one :p Cheers
Very good, clear and informative course. Has all the essential info and some good tips for the more experienced users too.
Great detailed tutorial. The sounds are a bit too low compared to the voice. Please do the same for the Octatrack, thanks.
Great course by a great trainer!!! Looking forward to more Elektron courses by this teacher. A course of Octatrack is high on my wish-list, and would be highly appreciated:) Warm regards Ole Højer Hansen / Producer - composer (Electribute, Electric Enemy)
